A press release can be about a happening that influences your business, or it can be concerning a modification in your corporation that will concern your client base. Anything you decide to be your story, you must keep in mind to swathe the fundamentals. Your press release should at all times inform who, where, when, what, and why.
Another rule for writing a press release is that it should be clearly understood that the press release that you are writing is not a tool to advertise your company or your products. It is an important point that most of the people forget while writing a press release. Although a press release aids in acquiring consumers and clients to your business that is not the main focus of the press release. The main aim of the press release is to provide a newsworthy story about an event or a modification that is made in your company that may affect your client. Always write a press release from the journalist point of view.
