Hi! Thank you for this tutorial. It really helps a lot for my static pages using wordpress.

I have one question. My index page - where my news/blog,(only titles) and other elements appears. When I click on a certain entry in my news, I want it to look like my custom page. Is this possible for blog/news entry?

Looking forward for your response.

I'm not sure things are so rosy with Facebook. Though they are growing in 'numbers' significantly, they are losing on pageviews and participation. In other words, users are either leaving or not involved anymore. Their application architecture opened the doors on third party development that is virtually out of control, alienating some of their biggest supporters.

I really do agree with your mention of the importance of graphics to your page. I am a very visual learner and an amateur photographer...even if I don't remember what your blog or sales letter says (and if that's so, perhaps you need some good copywriting software like Brausch's Glyphius!), I will remember your graphic forever. Pictures are powerful (just look at commercials/billboards/circulars/magazines) and an effective graph would grab my attention faster than the most carefully crafted blog would.

Thanks for these great tips. You're totally correct about the searcher always being right. Our ideas about how a search should be phrased doesn't matter if that's not what is being searched for!
James Brausch's Glyphius copywriting software has also proven helpful to my business. If you join
his intern program, you can access all of his products for free. Who has a ton of money to invest when you're just starting out? Not me!
Thanks again.

My main reason for blogging would be #3 because sometimes sharing things with other s helps you ride through a crisis as well as helping someone else who miht be experiencing something very similar.
If you are looking to target an audience, I can see why there should be ways to designate your blog by using the best tags under SEO programs to make sure your potential audience can find you among the many blogs out there.
Like Megan, I have looked at the blog of James Brausch. He uses his blog to divulge his success story, his software, his internship program and his desire to see others accomplish success in the online business world.

This is very interesting as I read the aforementioned book when it came out because it was required of educators believing it would revolutionize the world of teaching/education. It did not but as you show it did lay the groundwork for further extrapolations of those habits into the world of blogging. Among the many blogs and websites I have visited today was one program called Nemeas by James Brausch which does search engine ranking for keywords and if the blog is to survive, it must be read and accessible so the ranking needs to be as high as possible to guarantee readership and commentary. I have a website that is in construction and I will take into consideration your 8 points, thank you.
